Abstract: In recent years there has been considerable interest generated in the study of newlinecompound semiconductors with dimensions in the nanometer range In the present work we have newlineattempted to prepare and characterize ZnO and ZnO doped with Mn2Plus Cu2Plus and Pb2plus 2 point 5 5 point 0 7 point 5 and 10 point 0 mole percentage nanocrystalline thin films a total of thirteen samples by the simple chemical bath deposition technique with the easily available chemicals The prepared thin films were annealed at 600 degree Celsius for about 30 min Xray powder diffraction PXRD and energy dispersive Xray absorption EDAX analysis were carried out to characterize the prepared samples chemically and structurally newline
