Abstract: Staying connected globally has become mandatory in this busy world. The demand for automatic monitoring of almost every phenomenon like weather, plantations, surveillance and natural calamities namely Tsunamis, earth quakes, landslides etc., all needs a promising set up like the Wireless Sensor Network. One of the important issues in such network is the lack of proper coverage. This may happen due to improper deployment, failure of nodes and draining of energy of the node. Lack of coverage may lead to total communication failure in the network. Hence the work aims at finding the anomaly in the node deployment of such network thereby keeping track of the coverage issues in the post deployment scenario. The work focuses on three folds of objective: First, the identification of the Coverage hole is done using Geometric and the Topological approaches. Based on the metrics such as time complexity, cost and effectiveness of the two approaches, it is concluded that the best technique to identify the void in the network is the Topological Approach. Further the severity of the hole is to be analyzed by sizing up of the hole. This is done by polygonal approach which yields the upper bound of the Hole identified. The coverage of the network considered is analyzed using the Monte Carlo Integration technique. The identified coverage holes must be healed at the earliest to ensure good communication. Thus the second objective is the healing process initiated in a network where the holes are identified using the Advanced Delaunay technique. The Redundant Hole Based Healing Algorithm (RHBHA) is proposed for the same. Simple fuzzifier is used to show how the redundant node can be selected based on a nodes residual energy, angle swept and the distance with the neighbor node. The identification of the best redundant healer node based on its occurrence in the Delaunay Table is done and redundancy in the hole points to be healed is also located newline
