Abstract: Constant improvement in technology has considerably affected the field of engineering newlineeducation; where conceptual models and analogies are very important in addition to the newlinetheoretical details. Technology can prove a boon to those students who are not able to grasp the newlinetechnical concept simply by looking at the diagrams and equations available in text books and newlineusing traditional ways of learning. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology which, when newlineintegrated with teaching, can make the students visualize the abstract concepts, properties, and newlineanalogies for improved perception and understanding of the fundamentals even with minimum newlinemental effort. AR has a tremendous potential for teaching and learning in engineering education newlineto enhance studentsand#8223; learning experience; it influences the studentsand#8223; spatial ability for real-time newlinevisualization. Furthermore, this helps improve concept comprehension pertaining to improved newlineunderstanding of topics. newline
