Abstract: Chaos is a ubiquitous nonlinear phenomenon frequently newlineencountered in nature Switching systems controlled by naturally sampled newlineconstant frequency pulse width modulation give rise to a wide range of newlinesubharmonics and chaos depending on the changes in the system parameter newlinevalues The prime source of nonlinearity is the switching element present in newlineall of these power electronic circuits Nonlinear components like power newlinediodes and control methods like pulse width modulation are further causes of newlinenonlinearity If reliable power converters are to be designed an appreciation newlinethat these possibilities exist is vital together with knowledge of how to newlineinvestigate them use them or avoid them newline newline
