Abstract: Mobile agent technology seems to be a promising technology for newlinenetwork related applications with distributed and heterogeneous environment newlineMobile agent technology has the ability to reduce the network load and newlineimprove the network latency Though mobile agent technology offers so newlinemany benefits security threats related to the agent and the platform limits its newlinepractice in real time applications Existing mobile agent models like free newlineroaming mobile agent exposes more security problems which requires the newlineexistence of several security mechanisms These security mechanisms involve newlinemore consumption of system resources like CPU memory usage time etc newlineMoreover they do not efficiently resolve all categories of security threats newlineThis research work proposes new server architecture for mobile agent system newlinewhich resolves various security issues protects the agent and platform and newlinealso provides fault tolerant scheme to enhance the performance of the mobile newlineagent in network internet based applications newlineThe proposed protection model of the mobile agent system is called newlineMatrix Hop Mobile Agent MHMA system This MHMA model protects the newlinedata gathered by the mobile agent by sending them to the owner of the mobile newlineagent before the mobile agent migrates to the next remote host Since the newlineoffer produced from one remote host is not carried to the next remote host the newlineMatrix Hop Mobile Agent system protects the data against various attacks newlineincluding colluded attacks carried out by the group of malicious hosts newlineThe second model eXtended Anti Spam Technique XAST is newlineproposed to protect the mobile agent platform from the spam attacks carried newlineout by the malicious agent spamming agent These anti spam techniques newlineallow only the fixed number of times threshold value the particular type of newlinemobile agent is allowed to perform its task in a particular remote host within a newlineparticular interval of time The XAST includes ATA Agent Type Analyzer newlinewhich scan the byte code of an agent newline newline
