Abstract: Performance Management System (PMS) is a contemporary notion and is the need of the hour due to increasing competition. PMS is very vital for a manufacturing organization to achieve higher organizational performance. PMS is a set of parameters that are used to quantify the efficiency of an organization. PMS can be measured using various tools such as performance appraisals, skill charting etc. The implementation of such tools facilitates an organization to ensure higher levels of engagement among the workers, which as a result will assist to ensure higher organizational performance. newline
