Abstract: In the present research workwe have made an attempt to investigate on newlinegrowth and several properties of single crystals of amino acid and thiourea with some newlineadditives Solubility studies of the samples were carried out by gravimetrical method newlineSingle crystals were grown by slow evaporation method from aqueous solutions and newlinethe grown crystals were found to be transparent and colorless The grown crystals of newlinethis work have good optical qualitygood mechanical hardness and thermal stability newlineand seem to be interesting materials for academic research and industry newline newline newline newline newline newline
