For the purpose of leisure and enjoyment many people newlinetravelled to the distant parts of the country. Such activities of people give more newlineimportance to the tourism industry. Tourism is the fastest growing industry in the newlineworld; it has power to create employment opportunities as well as to earn newlinemaximum foreign exchange without exporting goods. newlineTourism has become a new industry for economically backward regions. newlineTourism industry can absorb the labor, unused resources and help to improve the newlinequality of life of residents. Small to medium scale enterprises play a vital role in newlinethe development of economy. Aurangabad is a major tourist destination in the newlineMarathwada region as World Heritage Monuments identified by UNESCO are in newlinethe district. Ajanta is famous for its three dimensional paintings, Ellora is blessed newlinewith the Kailasha Temple which is unique for its gigantic dimensions. newlineWithin the city is located Bibi-Ka-Maqbara, the Taj of Deccan, and close to newlinethe city there is another famous monument named Daulatabad Fort. Besides other newlinethere are many more other caves and temples close to the city and within the city newlinealso. All these historical sites in the city plays a vital role in the development of newlineAurangabad district. Many factors have contributed to the growth of tourism in newlineAurangabad. The tremendous changes in civil sector, rapid development in newlineeconomy, increasing level of individual s earnings, and marketing of tourism newlinedestinations are some of the important factors which led to the development of newlinetourism industry in the district. newlineIn this survey the researcher has tried to define the relationship between newlinetourism, tourists, hospitality and culture.
