Abstract: Education plays an important role in the development of human resources It is regarded as the main instrument in the transmission of values and for the accumulation of knowledge of a society Broadly speaking education refers to any newlineact or experience that has an effect on the personality of an individual A key pillar of education is learning how to live together in peace and harmony This involves first of all strengthening ones own identity selfworth and self confidence and then learning to appreciate the cultures of others to respect others as individual and groups and to apply the same ethical principles to decisions newlineabout other people that one would apply within ones own culture These are key learning for life in the 21st century
