dc.description.abstractnewline Organizational commitment and job satisfaction play vital role in any of the newlineorganizations. These also play major and essential role in the higher newlineeducational institutions. The prime objectives of this study are 1) to study the newlinerelationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment in newlinehigher educational institutions in Gautam Budh Nagar. 2) To study the impact newlineof various factors of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. 3) To newlinestudy the impact of demographic variables on job satisfaction and newlineorganizational commitment. In this research work, the purpose of this newlineresearch study has been discussed; further research questions, scope and newlinesignificance of the study have been explained. The literature reviews relevant newlineto organizational commitment and job satisfaction has been mentioned and newlinediscussed in detail which provides a view on the different aspects of the newlineconcept of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Overall 300 newlinesample surveys were distributed among the faculties of colleges and newlineuniversities. Out of which responses of 200 respondents were received for the newlinecurrent study and further data is analyzed. Descriptive statistics of the data newlinehas been done and, correlation and linear regression analysis and ANOVA newlineare used in order to test the hypothesis and meeting the objectives. It was newlinefound from this study that there exists a positive relationship between the job newlinesatisfaction and organizational commitment of the faculties in higher newlineeducational institutions. The factors of job satisfaction were found to have newlinesignificant impact in the organizational commitment of the faculties. Further, newlineit was found that demographic variables like age, marital status, educational newlinelevel, monthly income and length of service have an impact on the newlineorganizational commitment and job satisfaction; while gender and race do not newlinehave any significant difference associated with organizational commitment newlineand job satisfaction of the faculties in higher educational institutions.
