Abstract: Texture synthesis is important for many applications in computer graphics, vision, and image processing. However, it remains difficult to design an algorithm that is both efficient and capable of generating high newlinequality results. The requirements of efficient texture synthesis methods newlinehave become more and more exigent due to the developments in image processing, computer vision and graphics industry. That s why the newlineimportance of texture synthesis has been acknowledged many researchers. There are many drawbacks in the existing texture synthesis newlinealgorithms like, distortion brought by texture mapping, verbatim copy newlineproblem, visual artifacts etc
