Abstract: Special Education is that profession concerned with the arrangement of educational variables leading to the prevention, reduction or elimination of those conditions that produce significant defects in the academic, communicative, locomotors or adjectives functioning of children. Smith and John T.Neisworth] Education is the development of all those capacities in the individual which will enable him to control his environment and fulfil his possibilities. - John Dewey Education implications are rich and varied. Special Education is about giving exceptional consideration and providing exceptional opportunities and exceptional help to those needs are more. Teachers can make a significant contribution in empowering parents and reassuring them that they, and their child, are truly welcome as active partners. For the most part of the information in the educational guidance insists on collaborative working within Parents and Teachers and the institution. However it is helpful to remember that it can be more crucial and relevant to a parent of a child with special educational needs, who may already be feeling anxious or even that they are a burden to school. Special education is instruction that is individually tailored to meet the unique leaning needs of a child with disabilities. Special education is the educational provision to train and help the disabled children. It is found, that about one child of every five will require extra help in the school because of special educational needs. Thus Special Education is the educational arrangement provided to special children so as to develop their potentials and make them function as normal members of the society. Special Education is an instruction designed for the students with disabilities or gifts or talents who also have special education needs, some of these students have learning difficulty in regular class rooms but they need special education to help them master certain skill and reach their full potential in the school.
