Abstract: Objective: To examining the effect of antenatal exercises on physiological and psychological complaints during pregnancy. Methods: The population in this study consisted of Pune city women who attended the antenatal exercises class from April 2013 to May 2015 at Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital. The researcher selected total 70 subjects as a purposive sample for the study, the included samples who are attending regularly the antenatal care unit i e out patients department during pregnancy. For collection of data researcher used closed ended type questionnaire. Data were numerically coded and captured in Excel, using an SPSS software program. For the testing hypothesis the following statistical techniques were applied 1.) Inferential- statistics: Pearson Chi-square. 2.) Data was analysed by Repeated Measure ANOVA technique by using SPSS. The study shows the significant effect of antenatal exercises to reduce back pain, laziness, fatigue and sleepiness, constipation, leg cramp, frequent Urination, depression, anxiety and stress etc after exercises (plt0.0001). newlineConclusion: Antenatal exercises helps to reduce the physiological and psychological complaints during pregnancy, but some common complaints like excessive salvation, nasal problem, skin colour change and itching has no change during pregnancy. newline
