Abstract: According to Betz, the maximum conversion efficiency of a wind newlineturbine is 59.3%. But usually, the wind turbine works at 30% to 35% newlineof efficiency. Hence, there is an opportunity to improve the efficiency newlineof a wind turbine. If, the efficiency of wind turbine is increased by at least 1%, it could turn into giant profits. Countries like India are exceptionally warm, especially in summer, newlineand range of temperature is extremely high. Till now, the wind velocity has been used for power generation. Multiple nozzle system, therefore, if it is used, increases not only the velocity of air but also converts newlineheat energy of air into kinetic energy to the possible extent due to increased discharge coefficient. A few experiments were taken up newlineearlier to increase wind speed using single nozzle system. For the first time, multiple nozzle system has been used in this investigation and study.
