Abstract: Analysis of Methylation pattern offers great potential for the identification of biomarkers newlinethat can be used to detect and diagnose cancer in its earliest stages and to accurately assess newlineindividual risk. The aim of this work is to analyze the personal profile and percentage of newlineglobal Methylation of cancer patients so as to find the signature of DNA changes causative newlinefor cancer. Analysis of personal profiles of cancer patients and percentage of genome wide newlinemethylation was carried out in a study group consisting of 80 breast cancer patients,35 lung newlinecancer patients and 55 healthy individual volunteers. The study participants were grouped newlinebased on their age, smoking, drinking, dietary habits and cancer history. Life style, dietary newlineand associated factors of risk that may trigger the development of cancer was studied both newlinein cancer cases and in control groups. Genome wide hypomethylation is found in all DNA newlineextracted from cancer patients. The level of Methylation is within the range of 2.0-3.6%. It newlineis obvious that all genes are overexpressing in case of abrupt growing cells of tumour due to newlinethis hypomethylation. Methylation frequency in normal individual ranges from 7 % to newline28%.With the aim of developing nanotechnique to detect Methylation pattern, isolated newlineDNA is immobilized on Mica substrate with suitable surface modifications. Concentration newlineof methylcytosine antibody was optimized for immobilization on the AFM cantilever tip newlinethat has a potential application in force curve measurement. The size of the attached newlineantibody was found to be 0.059 and#956;m. The population study and nanotechnique analysis newlinewould stimulate future research on epigenetics for the detection of cancer at molecular newlinelevel. newline
