dc.description.abstractThe electronic chattels of bulk metal oxides changes when brought newlinedown to nano dimension because of their quantum confinement and size newlineeffects Metal oxides nanostructures extent an ample technological newlineimportance from wide band gap materials due to their size and shape induced newlineproperties A variety of pure and doped metal oxides nanostructures have newlinebeen explored for their morphological electrical optical properties for several newlineapplications Among them SnO2 an ntype semiconducting metal oxide with newlinewide band gap of Eg 36 eV have attracted much attention and have been newlineused in wide range of application like gas sensors rechargeable batteries newlineoptoelectronic devices and super capacitors In addition the low cost and newlineenvironmentally affable gives them more consideration than other metal newlineoxides It is obvious that the crystalline size crystal defects structural newlinemorphology and surface chemistry depends on doping ratios process and newlinepreparation conditions newline newline
