Abstract: The principal of this thesis is newlineTime-lapse technique is a cinematography technique whereby each film frame is captured at a rate much slower than it will be played back. When replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. Times lapse techniques is a very powerful technique to document extremely slowly changing/developing/moving phenomenon. A differential time-lapse technique allows us to remove the unnecessary data from the normal video, in order to save the time to visualization and storage space. Time-lapse techniques if used for documentary, not only saves the time to understand how thing are changed but also reduces the size of documentary. These two reasons are more than sufficient to attract the any communication engineer about time-lapse technology. newline newlineThe differential time lapse video is a technique where frames which contains some movement compared to the previously stored are only stored. The differential time lapse generated contains movements only, which is done during the time of recording. If time-stamping is not done, the action time is unknown, hence time stamping is required. Time stamping is done using visual watermarking and hidden steganography for different purposes. The log file is created along with the differential time-lapse video for authenticating the differential time lapse video in case of legal issues. newline newlineIn the present work, MATLAB based algorithm is used to generate the differential time-lapse video along with time-stamping and steganography. Also, log file was created using the image comparison techniques from real time video streaming captured by image capturing device to the system. newline newline
