The purpose of the study was to understand the refractive and accommodative status among the children with Cerebral Palsy on comparing with age-matched normal children in the hospital-based Indian population. Visual acuity among the children with CP was reduced compared to age matched normal in the study which was highly significant statistically. There was statistically significant difference in accommodative response between CP group and control group in this study, as lead of accommodation was found in the CP group. Accommodative status to be considered while prescribing appropriate spectacle correction to children with CP. Visual acuity should be assessed during follow-up visits after spectacle prescription newline
