Abstract: Education, with the increasing complexity of modern times, faces newlineever changing new demands, and therefore teachers need to enhance their newlineability to assimilate, evaluate and apply the available information to meet the newlinedemands of the society. Teaching is considered to be a high-stress occupation newlineand accountability has become an issue to be addressed at all levels of newlineeducation from national and state policies down to the individual classroom newlineand teacher. The heavy responsibility combined with limited resources, long newlinehours, marginal working conditions, and often unreasonable demands from newlinethose receiving services, lead to chronic stress, and ultimately, burnout. newline
